                      | 摘 要(英文):Lake Donghu is characterized by its multiple uses: water supply, aquatic sport commercial fishery and sight-seeing. Its surface
area is 27.899 km super(2). It has a high annual nutrients input
and heavy stocking fish species of planktivorous, omnivorous and
aquatic macrophytes feeders. The impacts of fish culture and lake
phosphorus loading was studied in 1993. Total phosphorus and
percentage of phosphorus contents in attached algae cells
increased markedly with the increases of fish stocking numbers.
The levels of phosphorus loading were 2.6-6.1 fold as compared
with the blank. Chlorophyll-a concentrations were from 2.09-139.79
mu g/Chla /L in different densities fish stocking and 6.06-107.68
mu g/Chla /L in different fish species stocking. Their
concentrations were far exceeded the blank. The results showed
that, phosphorus loading levels of the similar density group were
bighead carp (Aristichthys nobilis) > common carp (Cyprinus
carpio) > grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella > silver carp
(Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) > blank. The release of phosphorus
by fish activity was important. The potential effects of fish
culture on P budget in lake Donghu are considered.
